Narrow aisle forklifts work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider variety of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations like the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with strong acceleration and deceleration. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life as well as the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific function that maintains lower oil operating temperature whilst reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: In order to really reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the technician can adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the cargo and the operator to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Like most turret trucks they are normally guided by rail or wire when used in very narrow aisle applications.
