FM GRU Tower Cranes were established during 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is located in the biggest industrial location within northern Italy. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide range of presses, forklifts, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
The business started crane production during 1963. Over time, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
