End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible equipment and is well known in the material handling business. These machines have great performance characteristics which are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space needed to utilize these machinery are less than the three-wheel electric lift truck truck requirements. These equipment are an ideal option for applications that require regular on and off access, because their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by various businesses that maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The tines additionally have a hydraulic system which allows the driver to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides a lot more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
